Essential Care
Essential Care is Apeiron's entry-level subscription, designed for customers who are comfortable with technology and want the reassurance of professional annual servicing and a knowledgeable support team behind them, without paying for callout cover they may never need. It is the right fit for most straightforward domestic installations — lawns up to 1,200 m² operating on a clean, well-defined area with no complex zoning requirements.
Installation — 10% off the standard rate
In addition to the cost of the robotic mower, Essential Care customers pay £158 for installation on lawns up to 1,200 m², or £315 for lawns over 1,200 m² — saving £17 to £35 against the standard rate. The installation covers everything needed to get the mower working correctly from day one: physical hardware installation, wire-free zone mapping, charging station siting, full app configuration, mowing schedule set-up, and a face-to-face customer handover so the homeowner understands what their mower is doing and why.
App set-up and scheduling support
Robot mower apps are more nuanced than they first appear. Seasonal schedule adjustments, rain delay configuration, cutting height profiles, and multi-zone sequencing all sit within the app and benefit from expert input at the outset and throughout the life of the installation. Essential Care customers have access to Apeiron's team via email, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, at installation and at any point during the subscription, to work through any of these settings with confidence.
Remote diagnostics — up to two per year
If a mower stops returning to its dock, throws an error code, or begins behaving erratically, the first question is always whether the fault is software or hardware. Remote diagnostics allow Apeiron to interrogate the mower's data via the manufacturer platform, identify the likely cause, and either resolve it remotely or give the customer a clear picture of what is needed — without the cost of an engineer visit. Two remote diagnostic sessions per year are included within the plan. Additional sessions are available at £25 per session on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Firmware update guidance
Manufacturers release firmware updates that affect cutting behaviour, connectivity, and sensor calibration. Customers on Essential Care are guided through any significant updates, ensuring the mower is always running the correct software version and that any changes to behaviour are clearly explained rather than leaving the customer uncertain about why their machine is operating differently.
Annual service
Once per year the mower receives a full professional service. This includes a complete strip-down and deep clean to remove grass compaction and debris from the cutting deck, chassis, and drive wheels; blade inspection and replacement up to £30 in parts value; battery health assessment with a capacity and charge cycle report; sensor and safety function testing including lift sensor, tilt sensor, and PIN security; and a software update check. The mower is returned fully tested and ready for the season ahead.
For context, a standalone annual service is available to non-subscribers at £150. The Essential Care subscription at £199 per year therefore pays for itself on the annual service alone before any support value is counted — making it a straightforward decision for any customer who intends to keep their mower properly maintained.
What Essential Care doesn't cover
Onsite callouts are not included within this plan. Any engineer visit outside the annual service is available at the standard pay-as-you-go rate of £75. Workshop repair labour beyond the service visit is charged at £40 per 30 minutes. Winter storage and collection are not included but are available as an add-on at £79 per season. Customers who anticipate needing reactive on-site support, or who want phone access to the team in addition to email, should consider Complete Care.

Complete Care
Complete Care is Apeiron's mid-tier subscription and the package most customers will find represents the best balance of comprehensive cover and sensible monthly outlay. It is built for homeowners who want to know that if something goes wrong — whether a software fault, a mower that stops performing as it should, or a situation that simply needs an engineer on-site — there is a professional available to resolve it without an unexpected bill arriving afterwards.
It suits a wide range of installations: simpler lawns where the customer values peace of mind above all else, and more complex larger-lawn set-ups where the zoning configuration and seasonal scheduling demands make ongoing expert access genuinely useful rather than merely reassuring.
Installation — 20% off the standard rate
In addition to the cost of the robotic mower, Complete Care customers pay £140 for installation on lawns up to 1,200 m², or £280 for lawns over 1,200 m² — saving £35 to £70 against the standard rate. For a customer with a larger lawn, that 20% saving on installation is a compelling day-one reason to choose Complete Care over Essential. Installation is scheduled within seven working days of sign-up.
Phone and email support — Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Complete Care customers have access to both phone and email support during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. In practice this means direct voice access to the Apeiron team — important for customers who are less comfortable troubleshooting in writing, or who simply want to talk through what their mower is doing with someone who understands it thoroughly.
Unlimited remote diagnostics
Essential Care caps remote diagnostics at two per year. Complete Care removes that limit entirely. Unlimited remote diagnostics means Apeiron can investigate and resolve issues as often as needed throughout the year without the customer being concerned about exhausting an allowance.
Remote schedule and zone optimisation
Beyond reactive diagnostics, Complete Care includes proactive remote schedule management. As the seasons shift, Apeiron adjusts mowing frequency, cutting height, and operating hours remotely on the customer's behalf, ensuring the mower is always working with the lawn rather than against it.
Firmware and app update management
Complete Care handles all firmware and app updates entirely. Apeiron monitors for manufacturer releases, schedules updates at appropriate times, and confirms the mower is running correctly afterwards. The customer is kept informed but does not need to act.
Annual service — enhanced scope
The Complete Care annual service includes the full strip-down, deep clean, battery health assessment, sensor and safety testing, and software update check, plus inspection of the gears, bearings, and drive mechanism. Blade replacement is covered up to £60 in parts value. The charging station and docking contacts are also inspected and cleaned.
A standalone annual service is available to non-subscribers at £150. Complete Care at £399/year includes this service, two callouts with labour absorbed, unlimited remote diagnostics, and proactive schedule management.
Two onsite callouts per year — labour included
Two engineer visits per year are included with no labour charge, scheduled within seven working days. Apeiron will attend, diagnose, and resolve within the callout without adding a bill at the end. At the standard callout rate of £75 per visit, two included callouts represent £150 of absorbed labour value annually. Parts required during a callout are charged at cost.
What Complete Care doesn't cover
Parts and components required during callouts or repairs are charged at cost. Winter storage and collection are not included but are available as an add-on at £79 per season. Workshop repair labour beyond the two included callouts is charged at £40 per 30 minutes.

Total Care
Total Care is Apeiron's premium subscription, designed for customers who want the most comprehensive level of support available and for whom convenience, continuity, and certainty of cost matter more than price. It is the natural choice for larger, more complex installations — lawns over 1,200 m², multi-zone configurations, or properties where the robot mower is a central part of the garden management programme.
Installation — 30% off the standard rate
In addition to the cost of the robotic mower, Total Care customers pay £123 for installation on lawns up to 1,200 m², or £245 for lawns over 1,200 m² — saving £52 to £105 against the standard rate. This is the strongest installation saving across all three plans. Installation is given the highest scheduling priority, with customers booked within three working days of sign-up. A 30-day post-installation remote check-in is also included, reviewing performance data and optimising the schedule for the specific lawn conditions encountered in the first weeks of operation.
Priority support — six days a week
Total Care customers receive priority support Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Saturday, 9am to 1pm — the only plan that provides Saturday access. All support at this tier is handled as a priority with shorter response times and direct access to the Apeiron team.
Dedicated account manager
Total Care customers are assigned a dedicated account manager — a named point of contact who knows their installation, their lawn, and their mower's full service history. The account manager monitors remote performance data, flags changes in behaviour before they develop into faults, and reaches out when seasonal adjustments are due rather than waiting to be asked.
Proactive remote health monitoring and seasonal optimisation
Apeiron monitors each mower's operational data throughout the year, watching for early indicators of blade wear, battery degradation, or sensor drift, and acts before a fault develops. Mowing schedules are adjusted proactively across the seasons, accounting for growth rate changes, soil moisture conditions, and weather patterns specific to the customer's location.
Annual service — full scope
The Total Care annual service includes the complete strip-down and deep clean, blade replacement up to £90 in parts value, battery health and capacity assessment, full sensor and safety testing, gears and bearings inspection, motor and drivetrain check, and charging station inspection and cleaning. It also includes winter collection and storage from October through to March, and spring redeployment with a full operational test. Total Care customers do not need to think about seasonal storage at any point — Apeiron manages the entire cycle on their behalf.
A standalone annual service costs £150 and winter storage costs £79 as separate add-ons. Total Care absorbs both within the plan alongside four included callouts, a dedicated account manager, Saturday support, and proactive health monitoring.
Four onsite callouts per year — labour included
Four engineer visits per year are included with no labour charge, scheduled within three working days. At the standard callout rate of £75 per visit, four included callouts represent £300 of absorbed labour value annually — substantial cover for customers with complex or heavily used installations. Parts required during callouts are charged at cost.
Loan mower while in workshop
If the mower needs to be taken away for workshop repair, Total Care customers are provided with a loan unit for the duration, subject to availability, ensuring the lawn continues to be maintained in the mower's absence.
What Total Care doesn't cover
Parts and components required during callouts, repairs, or the annual service are charged at cost. Total Care covers all labour comprehensively but does not absorb the cost of replacement parts or consumables beyond the blade replacement allowance included within the annual service.
